Biographical Information

Alexei Alarcón debuted for the Granma Stallions in 2008-2009. He made 38 appearances, leading the Cuban Serie Nacional. He was 3-5 with a 6.24 ERA and allowed 135 hits in 96 2/3 innings. Despite being a reliever (except for one game), he was 6th in the circuit in hits allowed, 4th in runs allowed (79) and first in triples allowed (11).

In 2009-2010, he was 3-2 with a 5.63 ERA in 29 games.
