Alcides Sánchez Salazar
Infielder Alcides Sánchez hit .208/.304/.299 in 318 plate appearances over 7 seasons in Cuba. He fielded .923. He later was a successful youth baseball coach. In 2011-2012, he replaced Antonio Pacheco as manager of Santiago de Cuba. He was 53-43 his first year then 18-27 in 2012-2013. He briefly returned as skipper, going 15-30 in 2015-2016.
