Alberton, MD

From BR Bullpen

Alberton, MD was a very small town on the Patapsco River. Irv Hall was born here.

The town mainly consisted of a mill and mill housing. The name of the town changed several times depending on who the current mill owner was. During the 1940's it became Daniels. During the 1960's, mill housing was phased out and Daniels became a ghost town. What was left of it was largely destroyed by a hurricane in the early 1970's.
