Biographical Information

Arias and a member of the Coast Guard.

Pitcher Alberto Arias was the winner in his Major League debut on May 1, 2007, pitching 3 2/3 innings of one-hit relief for the Colorado Rockies against the San Francisco Giants. He pitched parts of three seasons, seeing his most action during 42 appearances with the Houston Astros in 2009.

He is the brother of Joaquín Arias.
