Biographical Information[edit]
After serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, pitcher Albert Turner played two seasons of minor league baseball. He was 8-11 with a 4.44 ERA for the 1953 Norton Braves. In 1954, he pitched for the Cocoa Indians (4-4, 2.49) and Middlesboro Athletics (6-9, 4.76). He later was a farmer and a mechanic.
