Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher Albert McKinney played in the minor leagues in 1951 and from 1956 to 1957. On July 31, 1951, pitching for the New Bern Bears, he tossed a no-hitter against the Wilson Tobs. He was 9-10 with a 3.10 ERA in 23 games on the year. In 1956, he was 7-8 in 29 games between the Duluth-Superior White Sox, Waterloo White Hawks and Memphis Chickasaws and in 1957, he was 9-4 with a 3.00 ERA in 24 games between Duluth-Superior and the Davenport DavSox.
