Biographical Information[edit]
Outfielder Albert Holland played in the California Angels system from 1968 to 1970. He was originally taken by the Chicago White Sox in the 42nd round of the 1967 amateur draft, but never played in their organization.
With the Quad Cities Angels in 1968, he hit .231/.355/.289 with no home runs, 6 RBI and 3 steals in 15 games. The next year, with the San Jose Bees, Holland batted .283/.370/.387 with 4 home runs, 46 RBI and a California League-leading 42 stolen bases. He hit .260/.346/.438 with just a single stolen base in 53 games for the El Paso Sun Kings in 1970 to wrap up his career. Overall, Holland hit .274/.363/.391 with 7 home runs, 75 RBI and 46 stolen bases in 187 games over 3 seasons.
