Albert E. Houghton (Ned)

Albert Houghton had been owner of the Gloversville Business School. He helped save the Gloversville Glovers, then became the team's secretary. As secretary and statistician for the Canadian-American League, he put together one of the best statistical compilations for a minor league. He succeeded Rev. Harold J. Martin as president of the Can-Am League, a role he held in 1946 and from 1948-1951, when the league folded.
