Biographical Information

Catcher Alan Osmundsen played in the New York Mets minor league system in 1973 and 1974, spending both years with the Marion Mets. In 1973, the 18-year-old hit .250/.286/.417 in five games and in 1974, he hit .257/.278/.286 with nine RBI in 24 games. Overall, he batted .255/.280/.319.

He served as the Mets' bullpen catcher in 1980.
