Alan Asquith
Alan Asquith was the top pitcher in Britain for many years.
Asquith had a 1.62 ERA and 110 K in 61 IP in 1966. He won Pitcher of the Year in three different British leagues in 1967. In 1968, he pitched the Hull Aces to a national title. He started for Britain in the 1974 European Championship qualifier against Sweden. He later coached in the Scottish Amicable League. In 2019, he was inducted into the British Baseball Hall of Fame.
