Biographical Information[edit]
Al Moore was at St. John's University from 1921-25 and by September 1925 he was in the majors. He had more at-bats in 1926, and also played some centerfield that year.
After his major league days he became successful in the International League, hitting .320 in 1926, .320 in 1927, .327 in 1928, .342 in 1929, .346 in 1930, .317 in 1931 and .311 in 1932 there.
