Second baseman Al Mazur played ten years of minor league baseball, with time away in the middle of his career for military service in World War II. At the end of his career, he was player/manager of the Monroe Sports in 1950 and 1951, leading the club to a Cotton States League title in the latter season. Following his baseball days, he was a juvenile probation officer for more than 30 years.
