Biographical Information[edit]
Al Gizelbach pitched in the minor leagues from 1931 to 1933. With the Burlington Bees in 1931, he went 10-14 with a 4.76 ERA in 36 games. He led the Mississippi Valley League in strikeouts in 1931. He went 6-4 in 27 games for the Des Moines Demons in 1932 and in 1933, with Des Moines, he was 18-10 in 40 games. Overall, he went 34-28.
He later scouted for the Baltimore Orioles, Milwaukee Brewers, Chicago Cubs, Pittsburgh Pirates and San Francisco Giants.
