Biographical Information[edit]
Adrix Paradizo played for the Puerto Rican women's national team and played college softball in the US. [1]
Paradizo went 4 for 10 with 3 walks and 3 runs in the 2015 Pan American Games, fielding .842 as Puerto Rico's main shortstop and allowing two unearned runs in 2/3 of an IP, taking a loss. She tied Marleen Gómez for the team lead in runs and tied Stéphanie Savoie for 8th in average in the round-robin. She lost to Bronze Medal winner Venezuela. [2]
She scored 3 runs against Taiwan in the 2018 Women's Baseball World Cup, lost again to Venezuela and drove in 3 to beat Hong Kong. Overall, she hit .364/.375/.500 with 9 runs in 7 games and fielded .957. She tied Michelle Cobb and Hee-ra Yeom for 7th in the Cup in runs. She was named the All-Star shortstop, the first Puerto Rican to make the All-Star team in a Women's Baseball World Cup. [3]
