Biographical Information[edit]
Adrian Lynch pitched five games in the majors for the St. Louis Browns in 1920. His minor league career was from 1917-1927, with a peak in 1925 when he won 19 games for the Denver Bears. He also twice won 18 games in a season, also in the Western League, with the Wichita Jobbers in 1919 and the Des Moines Boosters in 1923. He performed in the American Association as a pitcher for the Minneapolis Millers in 1924, posting a record of 3-9 with 26 appearances and a total of 104 innings worked. His ERA was 6.29. As a hitter he had his work cut out for him. In 28 official at-bats he never had a hit, although he walked once, scored one run and is credited with two RBI.
Adrian Lynch was killed in an automobile accident when his car ran into a ditch on U.S. highway 61 near Davenport, Iowa on March 16, 1934. He was an insurance salesman at the time and was just 37.
