Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Addison Johnson played at Clemson University from 2007 to 2011, hitting .253/.341/.348 in 185 games. He also spent a few seasons in summer ball, with one campaign of note being 2010, when he hit .452/.511/.677 in 11 games for the Statesville Owls of the Southern Collegiate League.

He never played professionally, but was taken in the 48th round of the 2009 amateur draft by the Oakland Athletics, a couple picks ahead of pitcher Vidal Nuno.
