Biographical Information

Adam Yudelman did not have a very typical profile when the Toronto Blue Jays appointed him as a major league coach before the 2022 season. His background was in analytics, originally business analytics, but later specializing in sports analytics. He joined the Blue Jays in 2016 as a baseball analytics intern, and six months later was hired full-time as a baseball research assistant and eventually rising to the position of coordinator of baseball research. His role with the big league team is to serve as a liaison between the analytics staff and the coaching staff and players and "act as the point-person for data-driven evaluation and strategic recommendations." He returned in 2023 as a major league coach.
