Adam Hunter
Adam Hunter was a pitcher for the Spartanburg Alley Cats and had a 2.33 ERA. He never pitched in Organized Baseball, appearing otherwise in semi-pro circuits.
Adam Hunter started his baseball career in 1990 playing in the (ABA) Atlanta Baseball Association; from there joined the Georgia Cherokees (Two time league champions) that played in the ABA and was awarded "Rookie Of The Year". The Georgia Cherokees also traveled playing summer collegiate baseball teams like Valdosta State, Kennesaw College, West Georgia College, Morehouse College, Southern Tech and the Russian Soviet Team.
He also played with the Southern Pines where he played pre season in the Big South League out of LaGrange, Ga. They also played the year earlier in Albany, Ga. one game in which was a celebrity event vs the Colorado Silver Bullets. Later he went on to play in summer leagues such as amateur Dominican and Mexican leagues retiring in 1999.
