Active of New York

From BR Bullpen

The Active of New York was a Pre-MLB club that competed in the National Association of Base Ball Players in the 1850s and 1860s. The club was formed in October of 1856, which was the year before the NABBP was founded. The club played their home games in Manhattan, NY, but appear to have moved to The Bronx, NY in 1867 and changed their name to the Jerome Park Base Ball Club.
