Biographical Information[edit]

Aaron Stubblefield began his professional career in 2017. He has played entirely in the independent ranks, mostly in the Pecos League, but also in the American Association and Canadian-American Association.

The Pecos League has always been a high-offense circuit, however Stubblefield's numbers still stood out. With the Santa Fe Fuego his first season, he slashed .387/.489/.602 with 8 home runs, 48 RBI, 51 runs scored and 16 stolen bases in 50 games; including his brief stay in the American Association, he hit .362/.462/.563 overall. He followed that with season batting averages of .357, .335, .356 and .357. In 2018, he hit a career-high 15 home runs and in 2019, he stole a career-high 21 bases. In 2020 and 2021, he had on-base percentages of .520 and .505, respectively.

In 2022, he managed the Trinidad Triggers to a 25-18, 2nd-place finish.
