Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher Aaron Akin was selected by the Florida Marlins in the first round of the 1997 amateur draft after winning the Baseball America Junior College Player of the Year award. He played four years in the minors, never posting a winning record or pitching above the Class A level. He currently is pitching coach for Mount Olive College.
