Biographical Information

Perhaps the tallest umpire in Hoofdklasse history, Aad Vuik umpired in the Netherlands from 1969-2000. He began working in the top Dutch circuit from 1976 and remained through 1984. He then switched to women's softball umpiring before returning to baseball in 1993. Off the diamond, he was a world champion tropical bird breeder.
