Biographical Information

A.M. Thompson managed the St. Paul Apostles for nine games in 1884. He was a catcher in the minor leagues and also a minor league manager. There was some speculation that he was the same person as player Frank Thompson, who was sometimes wrongly listed as Andrew Thompson, but this has been disproved.
