2010 Open international de Rouen

From BR Bullpen

The Rouen Huskies announced in 2009 that they will host a 2nd edition of the tournament. The 2010 edition of the Open took place from July 13-18, 2010. The Huskies initially confirmed that there would be six teams participating; Quebec, the USA and Belgium had expressed an interest in returning for the second edition of the Open. The Quebec delegation would later drop out at the last minute.

The Huskies chose not to participate, as the Open would be an excellent training opportunity for the French National team before the European Championships in Stuttgart later that year.

Huskies team president Xavier Rolland had hoped to see teams from three continents in the tournament; but the tourney featured only three teams. These were a team from St-Martin (called the Caribbean team), Team France, and an "All-Stars" team chosen from the best foreign players in Division Elite.
