The 1987 Holland Series was won by the Detach Pirates. The Pirates beat Brugman Keukens Neptunus two games to one to win their first Dutch championship. This was the very first Holland Series, as this replaced the previous format to decide the Hoofdklasse champion. Dave Daniels played for the Pirates, Marcel Kruyt for Neptunus.
