1960 Serie A

From BR Bullpen

The 1960 Serie A was a closely fought season. After the regular season ended, Seven Up Milano and Roma Senators were both 13-5. That led to a tiebreaking finale on August 28, in which Milano prevailed, 3-2. They were one of three teams from Milano in the ten-team league. Only two of the ten clubs had losing records. Roma's Giulio Glorioso led the league in average, RBI, wins and pitching strikeouts in one of his many dominant seasons.
