1952 Junior World Series
The 1952 Junior World Series was the 36th meeting between the champions of the American Association and International League. The Kansas City Blues won the American Association playoffs, while the Rochester Red Wings won the International League's Governors' Cup for the first time since 1939.
Rochester won the series in seven games for their first JWS title since 1931. They were only the second (and last) team to rally from a 3-1 series deficit in JWS history.
Rochester's Don Richmond led the Series with a .417 average while Red Wing reliever Jack Crimian had a 1.17 ERA in six relief outings, going 1-0.
