The 1934 Nashville Elite Giants fell from their 1933 playoff appearance, falling below the middle of the pack.

The team had a solid infield for the most part with 3B Felton Snow hitting .376/.417/.426 (131 OPS+), SS Sammy Bankhead .338/.376/.405 (114 OPS+) and 2B Sammy Hughes .319/.374/.383 (110 OPS+). Also hitting well was LF Tom Parker at .300/.339/.450 (114 OPS+) and C Tommie Dukes at .287/.326/.414 (101 OPS+).
