History, Comments, Contributions[edit]

The 1933 Cleveland Giants succeeded the Columbus Blue Birds in the NNL. They didn't last long, playing only one league game, before they too went away, being replaced by the Akron Grays (who used many of the same players Cleveland had). Notable names included manager Bingo DeMoss, 2B Bucky Williams, SS Leroy Morney, OF Wilson Redus, OF Lou Dials and P Bill Harvey.
