The 1932 Indianapolis ABCs were a bit below the middle of the pack in the 1932 Negro Southern League.

The offense was fine with a 101 OPS+. They were led by 1B Joe Scott (.362/.387/.483, 175 OPS+) and CF Sanford Jackson (.340/.373/.474, 6 3B in 25 G). SS/2B Connie Day (.260/.342/.288, 101 OPS+), 2B Ike Thomas (.273/.314/.303, 96 OPS+), C Mitchell Murray (.235/.321/.294, 95 OPS+) and LF Jim Williams (.262/.293/.319, 94 OPS+) were the next-best contributors, with 3B Jimmy Binder (.229/.273/.307, 83 OPS+) and RF Henry Baker (.208/.274/.273, 73 OPS+) rounding out the starters. The primary backups were SS Dusty Decker (.290/.353/.419, 144 OPS+), OF Bob Williams (.281/.395/.344, 135 OPS+) and OF Jabbo Andrews (.261/.292/.370, 109 OPS+). 48-year-old manager Candy Jim Taylor got into a few games even.
