Chicago/Pittsburgh played one season in the Union Association, which it failed to complete. The team started out as the Chicago Browns and moved to Pittsburgh in mid-August, becoming the Pittsburgh Stogies. they disbanded on September 19th and their place in the league was taken over by the Milwaukee Cream Citys, who had begun the year playing in the minor league Northwestern League.
