• July 25, 1911

  Traded players to be named later and cash to Rochester (Eastern). Received Eddie Foster, Danny Moeller and Chet Spencer. The Washington Nationals sent Dolly Gray (December, 1911) and Jack Lelivelt (December 1, 1911) to Rochester (Eastern) to complete the trade.

  Drafted Jerry Akers from Dubuque (Three-I) in the 1911 rule 5 draft.

  Drafted John Flynn from St Paul (American Association) in the 1911 rule 5 draft.

  Drafted Paul Musser from Canton (Ohio-Pennsylvania) in the 1911 rule 5 draft.

  Drafted Howie Shanks from Youngstown (Ohio-Pennsylvania) in the 1911 rule 5 draft.

  Doc Gessler player rights sold to Kansas City (American Association) for $3,000.

• February 17, 1912

  Traded Gabby Street to the New York Highlanders. Received a player to be named later and John Knight. The New York Highlanders sent Alva Williams (February 22, 1912) to the Washington Nationals to complete the trade.

  Selected Jay Clarke off waivers from the St. Louis Browns.

  Jay Clarke player rights sold to Indianapolis (American Association).
