  Traded Jim Bottomley to the Cincinnati Reds. Received players to be named later, Ownie Carroll and Estel Crabtree. The Cincinnati Reds sent Lance Richbourg (January 3, 1933) and Al Eckert (January 3, 1933) to the St. Louis Cardinals to complete the trade.
