  As part of a 3-team trade, traded Lou Brissie to the Cleveland Indians and Paul Lehner to the Chicago White Sox. Received Ray Murray and Sam Zoldak from the Cleveland Indians and Dave Philley and Gus Zernial from the Chicago White Sox. In addition, the Cleveland Indians sent Minnie Miñoso to the Chicago White Sox.
