  Traded John Ellis, Jerry Kenney, Charlie Spikes and Rusty Torres to the Cleveland Indians. Received Jerry Moses and Graig Nettles.

  Drafted Craig Mitchell in the 3rd round of the 1973 amateur draft (January Secondary), but did not sign the player.
