  Purchased Harry Courtney from the Washington Nationals.

• May 29, 1922

  Traded players to be named later, Doug McWeeny and $100,000 to San Francisco (PCL). Received Willie Kamm. The Chicago White Sox sent Shovel Hodge (September 7, 1922) and Eddie Mulligan (October 24, 1922) to San Francisco (PCL) to complete the trade.
