Biographical Information

Tsutomu Sasaki has played in the Japanese industrial leagues. He was Japan's main shortstop in the 2007 Baseball World Cup, handling 24 chances without an error. He hit .231/.300/.346. In the Gold Medal Game, he went 0 for 4 in Japan's win over the Dutch national team.
