Good morning, good afternoon, good night
(Redirected from Three consecutive called strikes by a pitcher)
Good morning, good afternoon, good night refers to the pitching feat of three consecutive called strikes on a batter during the batter's brief at-bat, resulting in a called strikeout on the minimum of three pitches. Such a feat is quite rare in baseball. Pitchers frequently "paint the corners" of the strike zone during such at-bats.
