Biographical Information[edit]
Stefano Desimoni is an Italian outfielder.
Desimoni debuted in 2005 with Parma and hit .294/.390/.324 at age 17. He fell to .209/.314/.230 in 2006, then put up a .295/.382/.308 line in 2007 (winning a Gold Glove for his work in the outfield) and .214/.278/.246 in 2008. In the 2008 European Under-21 Championships, he starred, batting .550/.609/.700 with 8 runs and 6 RBI in six games. In 2009, Stefano batted .274/.379/.396 for Parma. He was put on Italy's roster for the 2010 European Championship and has appeared for them in every major event since (as of 2013).
