South Australia state baseball team

South Australia was once the dominant power in Australian baseball, the first team to win the Claxton Shield 10 or 15 times, but they have long since faded from the peak. They won their titles in 1934-1936, 1957, 1959-1961, 1964, 1966-1967, 1969-1971, 1976 and 1980, having now gone over 25 years without a Claxton Shield pennant.
