Biographical Information[edit]

Woo-min Lee is an outfielder for the Lotte Giants; through 2008, he had 97 career steals in 124 attempts.

In 2001, Lee debuted for the Giants, going 1 for 9 in 16 games; used frequently as a pinch-runner, he went 6-for-6 in steal attempts. He hit .188/~.277/.253 in 48 games in 2002 and stole 15 bases while being caught stealing twice. In '03, he batted .214/~.353/.288 in 23 games and was 6-for-9 on the basepaths. He missed the 2004 and 2005 seasons due to military service.

In 2006, Lee returned from his military duty to bat .188/~.242/.286 in 89 games and stole 12 bases, but was thrown out stealing 7 times. Lee hit .301/~.365/.364 in 75 contests and stole 31 bases in 42 tries. He was picked for the All-Star Game but injured his left wrist and missed the contest.

During the 2007 Baseball World Cup, Lee hit .378/.429/.568 and had two outfield assists while making no errors in 10 games.

In 2008, he played in 81 games and slumped to .214/.277/.283 while being affected by a knee injury. He stole 27 bases and was caught stealing only 4 times.
