Ron Schaeffer, Jr. was a college coach.

Schaeffer was the first Penn State Berks player to get to 100 career hits. He was assistant coach at Ursinus College and was bullpen catcher for the Reading Phillies before serving as head coach of Penn State York from 2018-2021.
