Roman Boyko played for the Ukraine in the 2009 European Junior Championship.He went 0 for 10 with three walks, two runs and an error; he also pitched, allowing two runs and three walks in 1 2/3 innings. He debuts for the Ukrainian senior squad in the 2010 European Championship at age 16 (relatives Andrii Boyko and Kostiantyn Boyko later played for the team as well).
