Biographical Information

Pitcher Rick Surhoff is the brother of B.J. Surhoff and the son of former NBA player Dick Surhoff. He is also the uncle of Colin Moran and Brian Moran.

His major league career was brief, making nine relief appearances between the Philadelphia Phillies and Texas Rangers in 1985. Despite only pitching a combined 9 1/3 innings across the two teams, Surhoff was able to record a 1-1 record plus two saves.
