Biographical Information[edit]
Ramón Nivar was signed out of the Dominican Republic by scout Hector Acevedo for the Texas Rangers in January 1998. He made his pro debut for the DSL Rangers that summer.
For 2007 he signed to play for the Camden Riversharks of the Atlantic League.
Nivar was a coach for the DSL Twins in 2013-2015.
