Paternity leave list
(Redirected from Paternity leave)
The Paternity leave list was instituted by Major League Baseball in 2011. Players can go on leave for one to three days to be with their family after the birth of a child. Several players took advantage of the list in its first month of use, with Colby Lewis, Ian Desmond and Kurt Suzuki all taking time to spend with their wives and new children.
