Biographical Information[edit]
The daughter of big leaguer Herb Thomas, Mava Lee "Tommy" Thomas played for the Fort Wayne Daisies of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League in 1951. She later served in the U.S. Navy and graduated from the University of Florida before working for the Parks and Recreation Department in her hometown of Ocala, Florida.
