Biographical Information[edit]

Lukáš Caha debuted in the Czech Extraliga in 2000, going 1-1 with a 6.57 ERA in six games for Draci Brno. He was 2-0 with a 6.65 ERA in 2001. In 2002, he had his best season: 5-1, Sv, 3.45, 10th in the league in wins. He moved to MZLU Brno in 2003 and went 4-4 with a 6.12 ERA. He tied for 9th in wins and tied Roman Yatsyuk for 9th in strikeouts. He was on the Czech national team roster for the 2003 European Championship but did not get into a game. In 2004, he was 1-3 with a save and a 6.09 ERA for MZLU Brno, then gave up 3 runs in 5 2/3 IP in 2005. He then dropped down to the Czech minor leagues.
