Biographical Information

Outfielder Joe Zoellers played for the Springfield Reds/Midgets/Highlanders from 1902 to 1905 and the Wichita Jobbers in 1906. Perhaps his best campaign was 1904, when he hit .299 with 134 hits in 120 games for the Midgets. He managed the Highlanders for the latter part of the 1905 campaign, replacing Frank Hurlburt.
