Biographical information

Relief pitcher José Veras played for eight teams in just nine big league seasons. Despite so many team changes, he was traded just once, on July 29, 2013. He was sent from the Houston Astros to the Detroit Tigers for a player to be named later (pitcher David Paulino) and minor leaguer Danry Vasquez.
